Thank you for your Civic Hacking!

You were all so inspirational! Thank you for your whole-hearted participation the entire weekend. You're truly can-do hackers, and it was phenomenal to watch you come together with such positive energy of collaboration, doing, problem-solving, camaraderie and laser focus to produce 24 innovative solutions!

An enormous thank you to all who participated, volunteered, organized, sponsored, mentored, judged, and helped show what's possible. You can view all the winning projects in the Gallery. Many other projects came very close, so in our eyes, there are several more winning projects, and we would love to see ALL your projects go forward and be deployed in the real world.

Next Steps:

1. You can join to be a part of the Islamabad Civic Innovation Lab, in partnership with OPEN Islamabad and part of Code for All network, apply for leadership at http://bit.ly/isb-lab-leads or be a member at http://bit.ly/isbhacks-lab!
2. For Open Data-Based Projects,there is a potential to continue with media organizations as part of the collaboration between Code for Pakistan and the International Center for Journalists.
3. For winning teams, there are incubation opportunities at NUST, Invest2Innovate, The Nest I/O, and LUMS Center of Entrepreneurship (deadline for the latter is specially extended for you to today).
4. Eligibility to apply for P@SHA social innovation fund.
5. Automatic entry into National Mobile App Competition.
6. Free BizSpark or DreamSpark membership for all participants for 3 years. This includes Azure hosting and many other licensed services from Microsoft. Detailed Bizspark development support from Microsoft for startups.
7. Amazon Web Services will also extend support to some projects.
8. If there are other projects that you want to continue, let us know, we will work with you on them as well as provide Govt. & Industry Linkages for further support.
